  A Dateline Success

  just wanted to share that my cousin watched dateline and although she had faded away, still had guilt about not attending meetings.

  she and i have been writing and tonight she wrote to say that she'd read cofc and feels a lot better.

  BTW, she' s a real knockout, lives in New York, has a great job, just turned 30 today and is available....

  actually a friend of mine, alex, (who hopefully might read this and commence posting on this board) has been insisting for 20 years that women are naturally bi sexual.

  i laughed at his claims.. but now, looking around here, and based on numerous group chats ive had with women on this site, there seems to be some evidence that his theory is correct.

  It's probably true, most of the women like to flirt, but in reality, most aren't into that sort of thing, doesn't feel right.

  I used to think I'd never want to french kiss another woman, let alone do anything else, but let's just say things have changed. I've had a few encounters that have been very sensual with other women and I'm not against it at all anymore.

  Women really can have it all, lol.

  a friend asked me to accompany him to the district assembly held this past weekend in our area.

  in the talk at 11:40 am sunday, entitled be like jeremiah--fearlessly proclaim the word of god, as others have posted on this board, a reference was made about the dateline program, but no specifics were given.. from the meagre notes and memory, i will try and paraphrase the argument the speaker read from his pre-packaged discourse.

  he quoted the text from 1john 5:19, ....the whole world is lying in the power of the wicked one.

  It's taken time to just remember what dreams I had for myself back before I started to see it all as a waste of time anyhow. I am now a writer, making a living off of doing what I love. I could have gone to college and had things easier though, but I feel a certain satisfaction having plodded along without it and still making a career for myself.

  I'll never be able to forget being told I was gifted and watching my parents ask the elders if it would be ok for me to participate in a special class for this. They said it would make me think too much of myself and that it would make me want to go after a worldly career, etc.

  I wish I could have taken dance lessons or some sports that would have boosted my self esteem. Not that I don't dance now, but I'd love to move gracefully and know how to do the splits, stuff like that. LOL

  Just live it up now, there's no reason to give up just because you're older. I did learn how to Tango and do the Rhumba.

  Here's My Graduate !

  my baby graduated from high school.

  my son is in here too, with her.

  in about 4 years, if things go as planned, i'll be having a big graduation party for the both of them as they both graduate from college together.

  does every issue of morality have to be compared with the thinking and teaching of jehovahs witnesses?

  simply because you are no longer jehovahs witnesses does that mean that you flaunt all moral authority and engaged in any perverted pleasure that you have a mind to?

  because your morality is no longer legislated by a pseudo religious organization does that give you license to engage in all acts of "immorality" and refer to it "as just having fun.

  Hey Naebs, good point.

  Once, when I was about 14-15 my sister, cousin and I were sitting next to the fence to a neighbor and were talking about boys we liked, what we liked about them, talking about our "crushes". Nothing too explicit, but girl talk you know. What we didn't know was that the old guy next door was working on his flowers and overheard us. HE popped his head over the fence and said directly to me "if you were my daughter and I heard you talking about boys like that I'd spank your bare butt till it was as red as your shirt". I felt embarrassed, but also at the same time I realized he seemed excited by the idea. Turns out we found out years later he was molesting his granddaughter, btw. PIG

  I just want to say that I understand this maybe isn' t appropriate here (at least not for so long), but it was FUN. And, there weren't any pictures that I'd be embarrassed to show my JW mom, so why would I worry about curious internet surfing dubs seeing them and thinking we're all worldly and wicked?
